Weill Recital Hall was originally called Chamber Music Hall when Carnegie Hall opened its doors in 1891, then the Carnegie Recital Hall in 1947 with this sign to accompany it. It was finally renamed Weill Recital Hall in 1987, following a major renovation the prior year. #regram #carnegiehall #CHfacts #CHtreasures #themoreyouknow
