Day One of Res Life's Alternative Spring Break Trip with indianastatecce We went to the marinesciencecenter and had an opportunity to help clean out a fly cage that was damaged back during Hurrican Michael. We then did some cleaning in the education center as well as tidying up the Gopher Tortoise run for the tortoise's in rehab. We ended the day on the beach doing some clean up, filling multiple bags with random trash including wrappers, plastic bottle caps, plastic and glass bottles, lots of broken down pieces of plastic, a hard hat, a portion of a large net, and of course plastic straws. #PlasticStrawsSuck #PledgeAgainstPlasticStraws
