I feel the need, the need for speed ✈️ In August 2022, NASA photographer Josh Valcarcel flew aboard a T-38 jet with astronauts and astronaut candidates over NASAKennedy’s Launch Pad 39B and the #Artemis I Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and Orion spacecraft. An essential part of training, T-38s have long since been used to help astronauts think quickly in evolving situations, helping them prepare for conditions in space.
