#Artemis I launch director Charlie Blackwell-Thompson hands the mission’s zero gravity indicator to Melissa Menta from Peanuts Worldwide LLC. Throughout its flight, cameras within the Orion spacecraft captured Snoopy floating around the capsule indicating microgravity.
Snoopy has a long history with NASA, from the crew of Apollo 10 spacecraft calling their lunar module “Snoopy” to a Snoopy lapel pin that has flown in space, representing the Silver Snoopy award given to employees who have significantly contributed to human spaceflight.

Melissa Menta wears a black blazer and purple gloves, and behind her, Mike Sarafin wears a suit as he, Glenn Chin and Kevin Ash, both wearing blue shirts, look on at Snoopy.
