Special delivery via Super Guppy 🛬
On October 18, 2022, NASA’s Super Guppy aircraft landed at NASAKennedy Space Center carrying the heat shield for the
#Artemis III mission. This heat shield will protect the astronauts inside of the Orion spacecraft during the mission that will land humans on the lunar surface.
The heat shield was offloaded from the Super Guppy on October 19.
