During the final wet dress rehearsal, teams tested engine gimballing – movement in a tight circular axis to ensure proper flight trajectory – of the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket simulating flight steering commands. The wet dress rehearsal was the last major milestone for #Artemis I ahead of the SLS and Orion spacecraft's launch later this year. During its flight, Orion will travel 280,000 miles (450,000 km) which is further than any spacecraft built for humans has ever flown, due in large part to how advanced the engines on the SLS rocket have become.
