A new day ☀️ The Sun rises on the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and Orion spacecraft as it sits at NASAKennedy Space Center’s Launch Pad 39B on June 6, 2022. Today, June 18, marks the beginning of the next “wet dress rehearsal” test for the #Artemis I mission. During the test, the launch teams will rehearse operations to load propellant into the rocket’s tanks, conduct a full launch countdown, and demonstrate the ability to recycle the countdown clock. A launch date will be determined after a successful wet dress rehearsal. Artemis I will test SLS and Orion as an integrated system prior to crewed flights to the Moon.
