The integrated Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and Orion spacecraft have arrived at NASAKennedy Space Center’s Launch Pad 39B this morning atop the crawler-transporter.
The SLS completed its brisk 4.2 miles (6.8 km) trip from the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) to the historic launch pad in preparation for the upcoming wet dress rehearsal – where teams will load and unload propellant into and from the rocket’s tanks and run a complete launch countdown.
The wet dress rehearsal is the final test and a critical step in the
#Artemis missions, which will see the first woman and person of color on the Moon.
