#TBT: Apollo to Artemis 🌕 In the first image, the #Apollo 17 rocket and spacecraft are seen at Launch Pad 39A at NASAKennedy Space Center in Florida. Apollo 17 crew included NASA astronauts Eugene A. Cernan, commander; Ronald E. Evans, command module pilot; and scientist Harrison H. Schmitt, lunar module pilot. The final lunar landing mission in NASA's Apollo program, Apollo 17 launched Dec. 7, 1972, and marked the most recent time humans set foot on the Moon.
