Today #NASARemembers and honors all who have sacrificed their lives while furthering the cause of space exploration and discovery. This year’s NASA Day of Remembrance takes place on the 55th anniversary of the Apollo 1 tragedy. In this image from Jan. 28, 2021, NASA’s Day of Remembrance is marked by a memorial wreath placed before the Space Mirror Memorial at the NASAKennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. The mirror was dedicated in 1991 to honor all astronauts who lost their lives on missions or during training. Visit nasa.gov/dor to learn more and help honor those we’ve lost.
