Welcome to the #Artemis era. 🦅 The Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) at NASAKennedy Space Center in Florida is now sporting an Artemis logo. The only rocket to carry humans beyond low-Earth orbit to the Moon, the Apollo/Saturn V rocket, was assembled in the VAB. Now, the facility is being used to assemble the next generation Moon rocket: the Space Launch System. One of the largest buildings in the world by area, the VAB covers eight acres, is 525 feet (160 meters) tall and 518 feet (158 meters) wide.
