Room with a view 💫 #TBT On Nov. 8, 2021, European Space Agency (europeanspaceagency) Mission Specialist Thomas Pesquet (thom_astro) captured photos of the International Space Station (ISS) during the first ever “fly around” of the complex from inside a commercial SpaceX Crew Dragon. Crew-2, comprised of Pesquet, Commander Shane Kimbrough (astro_kimbrough), Pilot Megan McArthur (astro.megan), and jaxajp Mission Specialist Akihiko Hoshide, returned to Earth aboard spacecraft Crew Dragon Endeavour following 197 days on station. #Artemis will build on research conducted in ground analogs and on the space station to help NASA identify ways to keep astronauts safe, healthy, and productive during future missions.
