Stacking a rocket has never been so… oddly satisfying ☺️
Watch this timelapse of NASAKennedy teams stacking the Orion spacecraft atop the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, completing assembly for the upcoming
#Artemis I mission to the Moon and back.
Next up, Exploration Ground Systems teams will conduct integrated tests of Orion and SLS along with the ground equipment, prior to rolling the 322-foot-tall (98 meter) rocket roughly four miles (6.5 km) to the launch pad for one final test, known as the wet dress rehearsal. This test will demonstrate the ability to load and unload cryogenic, or supercold, propellants.
