Yesterday, three brave astronauts left Earth on a journey to the International Space Station (iss). 🚀⁣ ⁣ Chris Cassidy (NASAAstronauts) and Anatoly Ivanishin and Ivan Vagner (roscosmosofficial) launched in the Soyuz MS-16 at 4:05 a.m. EDT from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Following a four-orbit, six-hour flight, they docked to the station’s Poisk service module at 10:13 a.m. EDT.⁣ ⁣ The crew members will live and work on the station until October of this year, the month of the 20th anniversary of the International Space Station.
