A full Moon sets behind the Vehicle Assembly Building and Mobile Launcher at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, from where the powerful Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft will launch on a mission to the Moon on Artemis I. At the nation’s premier multi-user spaceport, NASA and its commercial and international partners will return humans to the Moon and beyond with SLS, Orion, and a variety of smaller rockets and capabilities which will enable us to continue operations on iss and in low-Earth orbit while charting a new future in space at the Moon.
