Over the last weekend, NASA’s Exploration Ground Systems at Kennedy Space Center moved the mobile launcher back to the Vehicle Assembly Building ahead of a possible impact from #HurricaneDorian ⛈ It will roll back to the launch pad soon to complete testing began in June. Traveling around one mile-per-hour, it takes about eight hours for the crawler-transporter to go from the launch pad to the Vehicle Assembly Building. This hardware will be used to process and launch the SLS rocket and Orion spacecraft before launching on Artemis I on its maiden voyage to the Moon.
