You can't host the winter #Olympics without snow! And South Korea has plenty of it. This image, acquired by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite, shows snow blanketing South Korea on January 25, 2016, Jeju Island—just south of the mainland (obscured in this view by clouds)—received more snow than has been measured there since 1984, according to news reports. What a beautiful view of our home planet!
