As the ancient galaxy is still in its infancy, it took the lensing power of a galaxy the weight of a million billion suns coupled with the combined power of NASA’s #Hubble and Spitzer space telescopes to see it. "Tayna" meaning “first-born” in Aymara, a language spoken in the Andes and Altiplano regions of South America, existed roughly 13.8 billion years ago or about 400 million years after the big bang.
