On Friday we posted a really cool piece by a young artist who participated in the Humans In Space Youth Art Competition. Today, we have another to share by Harrison Chang, 14 years old, from the United States.
The popularity of the Youth Art Competition was so great that the project gained a lot of fans. Out of it came a new challenge supported by NASA and the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space: the 2014 Humans in Space Art Video Challenge. College students and early-career professionals were encouraged to submit short videos capturing their visions of how space, science and technology will benefit humanity. One hundred forty-five artists from 16 countries participated.
The awards ceremony is happening next Thursday, June 4, during a Google+ Hangout with NASA astronaut Nichole Stott.
