Dr. Catana Starks was the 1st woman to coach an NCAA Division I men’s golf team & led TSU to a National Minority Golf Championship in 2005. There is a movie about Dr. Starks, called ‘From the Rough’ starring Taraji P. Henson and Michael Clark Duncan. #BlackHistory #TSUHistory #BlackHistoryMonth
