Dry camping can be tough, especially if it's your first time doing so! Planning ahead is important to making your first dry camping trip a success, so keep these tricks in mind: 1) Conserve Water: make sure to completely fill your tank, and keep an eye on how much you have left. Use water wisely when doing tasks like washing the dishes and showering. 2) Watch the Tanks: like # 1, keep an eye on how much used water your RV is storing. Too much and the gray tank can start to back up. Or even worse - your black tank can fill up! Make sure you dumped everything before heading out. 3) Power Consumption: your power has to come from somewhere, and running the generator can be noisy and sometimes not an option after hours if you are in a campsite. Put devices on power save modes, or put them away all together! 4) Dumping Trash: finding a legal spot to dispose of trash is tricky. If dry camping at a campsite, there should be plenty of dumpsters available. Otherwise, consider storing them ...
