Our team got to celebrate our partners at the premiere of the short film “5th Hour” last night. This short was produced by Oklahoma City Public School’s Scissortail Studios in partnership with the Film Education Institute of Oklahoma. OKCPS high school students had the opportunity to work and learn alongside film industry professionals over a four-day span, gaining valuable experience in a variety of set crew departments (A.D. Department, Camera, Grip & Electric, Continuity, Hair & Make-Up, Art Department, and more!) After watching their completed short film last night and getting to talk to the students, we could see their eyes light up with creativity, inspiration, and opportunity. The transformation that can happen, even over just a short period of time is so valuable and important. THAT is the power of film!
