I never fully comprehending its purpose. When the sling is worn as a necklace, it loses its functionality as a tool and becomes nothing more than a decorative accessory for firearms. To effectively navigate close-quarter combat scenarios, it is imperative to utilize the sling as a tool and maintain precision. Be able to be surgical. Unless you have shot thousands and thousands of rounds from your non-dominant shoulder, I do not recommend switching shoulders for no reason. Find a better angle.
