Today is a bittersweet day for me. Today is the last day that I will be head coach and manager of my Eastside Niners team. I decided earlier in the year that this would be my last season and today was our last game (which we won 7-2, sealing or 1st place spot in our division). I started out with the goal to teach a group of boys the game the right way, the way I learned the game and also teach them to be positive. And I think I was able to do just that. I have had the opportunity to coach many talented players over the years and know that some of those boys will go on to do great things. I said a few good byes tonight that were pretty tough but I will always be around for any of my players anytime. These boys over the years have been like family to me and I'll never forget them! My record as manager is 98-44-1, with a record of 58-31-1 in the MABF (League). I'm very proud of what I have accomplished and look forward to possibly coaching in the future...
