In honor of the great work of @fgarygray, @drdre, @icecube, @coreyhawkins, @oshea_jackson_jr, @jasonmitchellactor and the rest of the cast & crew of #StraightOuttaCompton I created this piece... As difficult as it might be for some to understand...it was the work of N.W.A that helped me get through some of the “tough days” I had as a teenager. Although I’ll admit luckily I didn’t have many of those days, mainly because of all the support I received from my family, but when I did I turned to these 5 dudes from Compton, and more specifically the vocals of Eazy-E to help me get through them. Now I can’t really explain it myself but maybe I felt the struggle they rapped about and was inspired to push through my own struggles.
