This past week was one that I will never forget. My 12U Niners team got to participate in a once in a lifetime tournament in Cooperstown, NY. We ended up going 3-5, but we played some extremely tough teams and it was a week that myself and the boys will cherish forever. At some point during the week I smelt something funny. It wasn't the 14 stinky boys stuck in the barracks but something much, much worse. There were several parents upset about their sons playing time, and they banded together to try and break down what I have built up over the past few years. They called, texted and emailed our organizations ownership and told stories of me belittling the boys, swearing at them and other disgusting lies. If you know me at all you know that I would NEVER do any of those things. Clearly these parents were angry, but to make up lies about me hurt me very much.
