Phillip-Michael Scales is a Dive Bar Soul musician, forged in Chicago and currently living in #Nashville. Encouraged by his uncle, the late great B.B. King, Scales fronted his own indie bands, wrote and recorded his own music, and worked to make a name for himself on his own terms. He fell in love with songwriting when his English teacher told him “A great writer can make their reader identify with anyone.” His music has taken him all the way to the Middle East, as well as festivals across France and North America. Earlier this year, he placed second in #Lightning100's Music City Mayhem out of 340 bands and musicians. His latest single, "Tell Me How I Sound Again" is available now!
