There is not a doubt in my mind that I would not be where I am today if I had not taken a chance on myself. I was told I’d never make it at the Division 1 level. I was told I shouldn’t take the chance of riding the MIZZOU bench for 5 years. I was told I should seek the safety and security of a smaller school. I thank God everyday that I didn’t listen. That one decision has lead me to where I am today. It’s always good to be reminded that even though somebody loves you and cares about you, doesn’t mean that their recommendations for your life are wise. Keep dreaming. Keep working.
