Tax exempt medical expenses: ✅ Condoms ✅ Viagra 🚫 Tampons In the U.S., only items that are deemed necessities—like medications + groceries—are listed as tax exempt. On average, women and girls spend about 2,400 days of their life menstruating and yet tampons and pads did NOT make it on the essentials list. Instead, we get taxed upwards of 9% on products that we NEED. It’s beyond time to make equity economic. #IWD2022 #WomensHistoryMonth
