Did a 45 minute adrianwilliamsnyc run today and learned a couple things.

I feel the most unfit that I’ve felt since I had my kids.

My cardio is way down, 4 miles today felt like 40, my heart actually hurt while running. My mind started doubting my abilities 5 minutes into the run.

When you train your hardest for 4 years to get to an Olympics and you close that chapter, you must never forget it’s ok to be humbled in fitness.

I’ve always enjoyed the challenge of workouts. The self doubt, the ability to over come negative self talk & the powerful shit you feel when you finish something harder then you imagined.

Working out is engrained in my blood, not to achieve anything outside of just my own personal growth & my ability to continue to become more powerful in my mind day in a day out.

Today was humbling, but I hope you all know the humbling days are the most rewarding days because you know more hay needs to be put in the barn 👑
