Being a BAD-ASS athlete doesn’t mean you have to fit inside any type of box or bubble. . Being back out in the circle has made me realize how important it is to let your vibes out for the world to see. I think as females sometimes we shy away from wanting to come across like “too much”.. “too bitchy”..”ungrateful”..“conceded”..”stuck up”…”entitled” !!! . The more I’m out in the art of competing the more I realize that we work just as hard as everyone else to be great at our sport, if not harder. We deserve our swag to bleed for everyone to see. We deserve those moments to feel good and let our true colours shine, no matter how colourful they may be. . I will teach my daughters that hard work is hard ass work. You can own your craft, own your weaknesses and strengths, always be a better teammate, and know that you’re constantly humbled in sports and in this world, so it means that the work NEVER STOPS… but you might as well enjoy your moments in time, because you’ll never get the sa...
