I’ve been a member of softball.canada since the summer of 2005.... and played with the JR and Elite Team starting in 2003.... I decided to step away from Team Canada after the 2012 season to try other things, playing overseas, NPF league, getting married, and having both my girls. The BOLD decision for me to try and get back into this game started the summer of 2017. I watched Softball Canada play at the Canada cup that summer, and had the biggest itch to get back out there and compete again... I’m so thankful I followed my gut with this decision... • • • As we head into our Olympic qualifier this Sunday, I can’t help but find myself going back to the fall of 2017 where I first started pitching again... it made me thankful for the people in my life who are in my corner and have had my back throughout this whole process ... my husband ♥️ ... my little girls ( who one day will hopefully understand my reasons for being gone) my family who’s supported me through this especially on more ph...
