#TBT One year ago, in response to COVID-19, our facility was placed under a mandated closure for what would end up being six months. During these six months, our members faithfully showed up to support Athletic Lab. They ventured into virtual classes from their homes and as our cool building sat empty just an arm's length away, our members braved the sweltering NC summer heat to attend classes in our parking lot. They dodged thunderstorms and swatted at mosquitos in support of Athletic Lab. Our staff adapted to all of the new policies, regulations, programming, scheduling, equipment modifications, and class alterations that were being thrown at them as a result of Athletic Lab's facility closure. They dragged equipment into and out of storage multiple times a day, disinfected, wiped, and mopped (and still do). They faithfully stayed in the hot parking lot for hours, going home at the end of the day with sunburns. A year later, we're extremely grateful to be inside our new building ...
