The equipment that you find in a facility reflects the training philosophy of the organization. Not coincidentally, you won’t find many ‘machines’ in our facility. There’s nothing wrong with machines per se and they definitely can have a time and place in a fitness and training routine.But we tend to lean more towards the basics - steel and rubber - barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, and bumper plates. These simple tools allow us to do practically everything we want. ⠀ ⠀ One of the few exceptions to this rule are our rowers from Concept2inc. Erg rowing can be a highly effective conditioning modality. Elite rowers are among the fittest athletes in the world. Some of elite rowers have been known to have resting heart rates in the low to mid 30s!
