#squat. We use this exercise as an alternative to traditional barbell squats in training for certain athletes and also for testing purposes. The
#kmeter allows us to look at concentric and eccentric ratios as well as peak and average power outputs in real time. When using as a daily monitoring tool we have used it as part of a battery of tests to assess recovery and readiness to train for a given day. In this regards it's perfect because a maximal effort set can be performed in seconds and with minimal prior warmup. The results are reliable and accurate and the test protocol is very simple and unobtrusive to training. This allows us to have great compliance and buy-in. We've found strong correlations between this field test and survey scores.
