Alekna extinguished the oldest men’s track & field world record of 243-0 (74.08m) set by Jurgen Schult of East Germany in 1986. Mykolas, who won the pac12conference title last year for caltfxc is a 2-time worldathletics medalist, earning medals in Eugene and Budapest.
