Ok, I’m still processing what just happened, so bear with me. I just left the Casbah Club tour. THE CASBAH COFFEE CLUB. The same building, the same paint on the walls, everything. Roag Best, Jr could not have been a better guide, talking you through his family’s history and their connection to the house, the club, and of course, The Beatles. Absolutely amazing and completely overwhelming. This was the BEST (pun intended)! 1) me outside, 2) THE room where THAT photo was taken, 3) me sitting on the same bench in the same spot as Cynthia in that other famous photo.
