Things have been going swimmingly, but what’s even cooler is that I’ve been using THE bass that Ace used on all of his bass tracks on the ‘78 solo album and everything else he’s ever played bass on. His bass tone on the ‘78 solo album is my favorite rock bass tone, so it’s very special to play the instrument responsible with the guy that’s responsible for such a huge part of my musical life.
