This is the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center in Birmingham, AL. Growing up a little north of B’ham in Decatur, I saw a lot of shows at this arena: VH a couple times, GnR, Metallica. This is also the spot where I saw the KISS reunion tour for the first time with bradbreath and Joey Parker. I will never ever forget that night. We were all finally seeing what we had prayed to see for so many years. It was the original four in all their glory, but #1 for me was ACE!!! Ace was back and I was finally seeing him. I was talking to Brad about the upcoming Alice/Ace tour, and I realized that this venue is on the tour and I’m playing it with Ace. I’m playing the venue where I first saw Ace with Ace. Damn.
