I'm excited to share this literary & visual art project involving creatives from U.K. & USA titled #AmericanaUnsung. I met timeastonwriter in March 2017 while I was filling in on guitar with americanaquarium for their month long European tour. It was a gift to be able to play and travel with those guys and meet some wonderful people. I found myself sketching and drawing in between shows in the van and greenrooms. I got to talk with Tim about art and even drew him a tattoo. Tim planted the seeds about this idea he had to write "true" untold stories of people he's met over the years on the road. These are "the true & sordid stories of AmericanaFest americanaUK lesser lights of faded glory." After years of ideation and getting caught up in other projects Tim, Aaron, and I have launched the project with the first story. I'll be creating portraits based on the stories and nothing else.
