Also recognized were University of Florida Head Football Coach Dan Mullen, University of Notre Dame former Head Women’s Basketball Coach Muffet McGraw and ESPN “SportsCenter” Host Scott Van Pelt. ESPN NFL Football Analyst Chris Mortensen was the recipient of the V Foundation John Saunders Courage Award. The mission of the Dick Vitale Gala is to raise funds for premiere pediatric cancer research across the nation, while simultaneously promoting awareness of pediatric cancer and how devastating it is to our children and their families.
