This month I'm taking you around 饾棡饾椂饾椈饾棿 饾棖饾椂饾榿饾槅, a township originally named Springhill because of the many natural springs that were once flowing through its countryside. When the new railway arrived in 1853, Springhill was changed to King City to minimize confusion with other cities named Springhill. In fact, the King City railway station is now the oldest surviving railway station in Canada! 馃殏
This subdivision runs from the 15th sideroad to the north up until King Vaughan Road to the south, and is known for its many hiking trails, heritage homes, and recreational centres.
King City is also a commuter hub, as the Go Train runs right through the middle of the neighbourhood and the nearby Highway 400 provides a convenient option for those travelling to Toronto or up north.
The King City community is packed with rich history and charm for you to enjoy. Call me at
647-302-2003 to explore available properties in the neighbourhood.
