With Just 2:28 remaining in the fourth quarter and trailing by 8 points, Edelman made a diving catch which seemed nearly impossible to put the Patriots in scoring position. The Patriots would go on to score and get the 2 point conversion to send the game into OT. In OT, the Patriots received the ball first and drove down the field, leading to a James White rushing TD for the win. The final score was Patriots 34- Falcons 28.
