This past Saturday, graduate student and 2x captain, Erin Kloostra, was selected to wear #23 in the annual “Vanessa Cox #23 Memorial Game”. This jersey is given to a player who embodies the same qualities as Vanessa’s character. As a team, we honored Vanessa Cox, a UVM Lacrosse Alum and a UVM Athletic Hall of Fame inductee who graduated in 2005. In 2015, she was tragically killed in a car crash at the age of 31.
