Last week, phlcouncil honored #NobelPrize Laureates Drew Weissman, MD, PhD, and katalin_kariko, PhD, with a new resolution recognizing their development of #mRNAvaccine technology. Their trailblazing work saved countless lives against #COVID19 and has the potential to protect against many other diseases, including #cancer and #HIV. Weissman and Kariko are among many scientists that contribute to #Philly's reputation as #CelliconValley, a hub for biomedical innovation.
