Seven years later, he hasn’t gone back to the final and has learned to appreciate that first win so much more. Getting traded to Montreal was the best thing that could happen for his career, according to him, as he was contemplating retirement. Our team allowed him to make some awesome friendships, have fun coming into work again and reignite his love for football. Football isn’t the only thing he’s love with, however, as he and his wife Shelby are like two peas in a pod. Funny fact: Spencer played for McMaster U and won a Vanier Cup against Laval.
