USTA Southern California to read even more 😊 Maureen: Winner of 9 Grand Slam Singles Titles, 2 Doubles Titles, & 1 Mix Doubles Title. 1953, she became the 1st woman to win all 4 Grand Slam tournaments in the same calendar year at age 18. In 1969, she was inducted into the International Hall of Fame & in 1987 she was inducted into the International Women's Sports Hall of Fame.
