Already without leading scorer Kiki Smith, the Florida Gators lost another starter early in their SEC Tournament quarterfinal when Jordyn Merritt hit her head on the hardwood. The Gators battled throughout but didn't have the juice to finish off the comeback. Zippy Broughton scored 26 points, but Shakira Austin's 27 points and 13 rebounds proved too much in a win for Ole Miss.
