Head coach Jim McElwain confirmed that quarterback Will Grier will transfer. Grier informed his teammates Friday night that he was leaving. As a transfer, Grier will be out of football for 18 months. He would not have been eligible to play again at UF until the Oct. 15 Missouri game in 2016.
