Before announcing our final team award for 2019-20 season we want to thank our other graduating senior for his career accomplishments in the Stingers uniform. Adrian Armstrong arrived on campus 4 years ago and his story is truly unique. After graduating high school in London, ON he moved to Montreal and attended Dawson college and played on their Divison 2 team. After a successful season there, his shooting caught the eye of our coaching staff. Concordia was the only guaranteed roster spot he was offered at the U Sports level and the rest is history. Adrian’s work ethic and desire to improve quickly moved him into the top 12 and midway through the second year he became the starting two guard. In his third year he had his breakout season as he averaged 16.4 ppg and was selected on the RSEQ 1st All-Star team while helping us win the RSEQ championship.
